Other Ways to Support Jesuit Academy
Jesuit Academy accepts gifts in various forms, including those listed below. (Consult with your financial adviser to determine which method of giving is most beneficial for you)
Cash: The most common method to make a gift is to contribute cash because it will cost you less when you file your taxes. Gifts can also be made In Honor or In Memory of a friend or loved one.
Securities: Making a gift of appreciated stock is one of the most advantageous forms of giving.
Insurance: Donate by making Jesuit Academy the owner and beneficiary of your insurance policy.
401(K) or IRA: Amend yours by making the Jesuit Academy beneficiary.
Planned gifts: Examples include designating the Jesuit Academy in your will, forming a charitable trust of gift annuity. Charitable trusts offer significant tax savings while providing annual income. Trusts are funded with an asset. At the end of your life, Jesuit Academy will receive the remaining funds in the trust. Gift annuities provide you with a lifetime income, which is based upon your age.
Real Estate/Personal Property: If you have owned the real estate for 12 months or more, you will avoid capital gains taxes and may deduct the fair market value of the real estate. If a gift of tangible personal property is related to the school’s purposes, it is fully deductible at fair market value.
