Robotics

Engineered for Success

Our young engineers, coached by Mr. Tedder, are in their second year together as a team after launching the robotics program last school year. They have participated in various competitions, building their robot from scratch to ensure it’s ready to compete against robots from across the Omaha metro.

Throughout the competitions, the JA team put its robot to the test maneuvering it around the playing field, knocking down objects, and transferring blocks into designated boxes to gain points. They went head-to-head against other teams and worked alongside one another to achieve success. Watching our young men partake in such competitions, we’ve seen them become more confident and build friendships with students from various schools, sharing ideas and strategies.

We are so proud of the progress these young men have made, and look forward to continue growing our robotics program going forward! On March 2nd, Jesuit Academy competed at the State Robotics Competition at the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum. Way to go Ashdon, Jang, Christopher, and Mr. Tedder!
