Jesuit Academy is excited to welcome Elisha Suttles, M.Ed., PLMHP, to our community. As a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and mental health educator, Elisha is committed to helping young people feel seen, supported, and equipped to thrive. She earned her Master’s in Clinical Counseling and her M.Ed. in Neuroscience & Trauma from Tabor College, where she graduated with honors. Since 2022, Elisha has served individuals, families, and communities through a neuroscience-informed and trauma-responsive approach to mental health. Her work with young people focuses on helping students better understand themselves and recognize the connections between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. She helps students develop practical skills for navigating stress, conflict, change, and other challenges they may encounter both in and outside of school.
At the heart of Elisha’s approach is the belief that behavior is communication and that every student deserves to be understood beyond what may be happening on the surface. Her work emphasizes relationship, emotional safety, accountability, resilience, and whole-person development. She is especially passionate about creating spaces where students can pause, reflect, build emotional awareness, and learn that asking for support is a strength. In addition to her clinical work, Elisha is a community educator, speaker, and advocate for accessible mental health support. She brings a collaborative, culturally responsive, and strengths-based perspective to her work with students, families, educators, and communities.
Elisha is excited to bring her experience, passion, and commitment to student well-being to the Jesuit Academy community. She looks forward to partnering with students, families, faculty, and staff to support the development of the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. We are excited to have Elisha as part of the Jesuit Academy community and look forward to the care and perspective she will bring to our students and school.
