It is with great pleasure and excitement that Jesuit Academy announce the appointment of two members of our leadership team: Jermaine Ballard, VP of College & Career Readiness, and Ryan Pickett, VP of Advancement & Marketing.
About our new VP of College & Career Readiness
Jermaine Ballard, M.A., is a dedicated community and youth advocate with over 20 years of experience in education. His specialization is in helping youth obtain post-secondary education and bridging the gap between education and employment. With a Bachelors in Business Management from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Masters in Education Administration from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, Jermaine is also the founder of the Urban Leadership Symposium, a platform that connects empowered teens with professionals. A youth football coach for 15 years, Jermaine’s passion for mentorship extends both on and off the field. He lives by the motto: "Never settle for being successful, when you're destined to be great."
About our new VP of Advancement & Marketing
Ryan Pickett brings a wealth of experience with a deep commitment to community engagement and the promotion of future growth for our school. With a passion for empowering youth and founded relationships within our community, we are confident that Ryan will continue to uphold the Jesuit values that define our Academy. Prior to joining Jesuit Academy, Ryan served as Chief Development Officer for the Boys Scouts of America in Omaha, responsible for all private support for the Mid-America Council which covers 58 counties in Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota. In his role, he demonstrated leadership, relationship building, and a commitment to creating opportunities for youth.
We believe that both Jermaine and Ryan possess the management skills, passion for youth, vision for the future, and commitment to the Jesuit values, making them the right fit for their respective roles at Jesuit Academy.
