Students Recognized at First Quarter Awards Ceremony

Students were recently recognized for their academic and citizenship performance at the first quarter awards ceremony in the school commons area.  Academic honors are divided into two categories:  First Honors for students with a 3.5 and above GPA and Second Honors for 3.2-3.49 GPA.  Citizenship honor roll recognizes behavior. 

Congratulations to the 17 students who achieved academic honors:  First Honors – Vernon Brown, Sean Griffin, Jamari Richards, Tysen Walker and KeShaun Washington, fourth grade; Isiaah Clark, Carl Brown and Nasire Perry, fifth grade; Henry Lewis and Lee Turner, sixth grade; Tyler Welchen and William Worthington, seventh grade; Jordan Flowers and Kaz Nicholson, eighth grade.  Second Honors – Caleb Dean, fourth grade and T.J. Griffin, Corey Trigg, fifth grade. 

Congratulations to the following 21 students who earned citizenship honors:  Justin Bryson, Jamari Richards and KeShaun Washington, fourth grade; Dominic Anderson, Isiaah Clark and Corey Trigg, fifth grade; Henry Lewis and Lee Turner, sixth grade; Angelo Brown, Kyree Ellebb, Shereef Mitchell, Alejandro Rodriguez, Freddy Tlatenchi, Tyler Welchen and William Worthington, seventh grade and eighth graders Eduardo Aguilar, Shannon Brewer, Jordan Flowers, Tony Hall, Kaz Nicholson and Jashen Wade. 

Daily attendance levels at Jesuit Academy remain in the 90-percent and above range. Congratulations to the following 19 students for earning Perfect Attendance Honors:  Justin Bryson, Caleb Dean, Jamari Richards, Jordan Skipper and KeShaun Washington, fourth grade; Dylan Holston, Brenden McGary and Corey Trigg, fifth grade; Jerome Glass, Kyle Hutcherson, Fondation One and Darryl York, sixth grade; Brian Baker, Kyree Ellebb, Janaeco Richards and Alejandro Rodriguez, seventh grade; Eduardo Aguilar, Jy’ion Berry and Jashen Wade, eighth grade.
