As part of the summer session and the afternoon camp portion, Jesuit Academy 8th graders visited The Institute for the Culinary Arts at Metropolitan Community College on Wednesday and took part in a tour and a knife skills class, led by several instructors from the college. Students learned proper knife techniques using celery and tomatoes and finished the class making a tomato bruschetta, which they enjoyed on toasted bread. We think there may be some future chefs at Jesuit Academy! Thank you to Metro Community College for a great class!
