Jesuit Academy Jaguars Meet the Creighton University Bluejays

Students in the fourth grade at Jesuit Academy recently spent an afternoon with the players and coaches of the Creighton University Men’s Basketball Team.  Activities included watching a practice session from the sidelines and working on their free throws and jump shots on a court adjacent to where the team practices.  The students were also treated to ice cream treats in the Jesuit dining room. 

This field trip was made possible thanks to special arrangements with Coach Greg McDermott, Fr. Roc O’Connor, Creighton University Jesuit Rector, Fr. Tom Neitzke, SJ, Jesuit Academy President and J.J. Pick, fourth grade teacher.
