On Friday, November 18, Jesuit Academy hosted the annual Grandparent Luncheon, a celebration of the involvement and support of grandparents in the lives of the students at Jesuit Academy. Students and families enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving lunch, along with song, poems, and presentations from the students. Thank you to everyone who attended and to those who volunteered! It was wonderful to see so many parents, grandparents, and other family members. Please note: the photos taken of each family will be mailed to the address provided.

Today we celebrated the young men from Jesuit Academy who were selected as Men for Others during the fourth quarter of last school year and the first quarter of this school year. Each quarter, one young man from each grade is selected for the award, which is the highest award a student can receive. Recipients are selected for their exemplification of the Graduate at Graduation pillars - Open to Growth, Loving, Religious, Intellectually Competent, and Committed to Doing Justice.
Mr. Hoy, President of Jesuit Academy, and Mr. Wharton, Principal of Jesuit Academy, joined the students. Lunch was held at Big Mama's Kitchen And Catering. Thank you for a delicious lunch! Check out these great pyramids created by the the 6th grade World History class! |
