Today we celebrated the accomplishments of our students during the first quarter of the 2015-2016 academic year. After each teacher gave out the awards for their respective grades, awards were presented for perfect attendance, citizenship, second academic honors, and first academic honors. We're excited to report 40 of our 73 young men had perfect attendance, 32 received a citizenship award (meaning for the entire quarter they received 15 or less demerits and 3 or less academic detentions), 6 received second academic honors (a GPA of 3.2 - 3.4) and 18 received first academic honors (a GPA of 3.5 - 4.0). Wow!! The award for Men For Others was also given to a student in each grade. This award is the highest award given each quarter to the young man in each grade who best exemplifies the Jesuit mission. Great job guys!

Thanks to a grant from US Lacrosse, Jesuit Academy students are being introduced to lacrosse in PE. The 5th grade class was the first group to test out the equipment - we see some future lacrosse players out there! ![]()
