![]() Effective January 1, 2015, Tom Hoy will assume the role as President of Jesuit Academy. Fr. Tom Neitzke, current Jesuit Academy President, will remain at Jesuit Academy as needed during the second semester, before undertaking his next position within the Jesuit community in May 2015. Hoy comes to Jesuit with a wealth of expertise and a deep sense of Jesuit and Ignatian values. He received a Jesuit education at Marquette University High School and Creighton University. After college he lived out the Jesuit mission as a Theology and Psychology teacher at Creighton Prep. During his five year tenure at Prep, he worked with students in the classroom, on retreats, service trips, student counseling, coaching, and as a student government moderator. He also went to graduate school during that time and received an MBA from Creighton University. Since his days teaching at Prep, Mr. Hoy has worked in the business sector in a variety of executive positions in global marketing, public relations, and business development. He led teams in over thirty countries and across all walks of life. Throughout this time, Mr. Hoy stayed involved in education and the mission of the Jesuits. He serves on Creighton Prep's Board of Directors, where he was recently appointed as Chair of the Development Committee. Mr. Hoy is a life long educator and continues to hold a Nebraska State teaching certificate and is endorsed in Theology, Psychology, and Family & Consumer Science. Mr. Hoy and his wife Maureen, a teacher at Mary Our Queen, have three children. Their two sons both attend Marquette University and their daughter attends St. Louis University.
