The Hour of Code activities were led by the 8th grade students who spent the week preparing to lead the groups during their science classes. On Friday, two 8th graders each led a group of 4th-7th grade students through six stations on computer coding. The stations included: solving mazes using computer code, "human" coding, using a spreadsheet to program a calculator, programming Lego Mindstorms robots, designing and coding a racing game on the Scratch platform, and a video presentation on Code Day and computer science.
