Position: Assistant Director, Graduate Support and Student Affairs
The Graduate Support and Student Services function is an integral part of our mission and focus at Jesuit Academy. We are committed to “walking with our graduates and families” after they leave Jesuit Academy in the Jesuit tradition of Cura Personalis (care for the whole person). This function is layered into our support model from a student’s experience on “day one” at Jesuit Academy.
This role is a 12-month school position. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: (1) Create and manage a recruiting “funnel”; (2) Oversee the transition of new students to Jesuit Academy; (2) Conduct student education/formation programs/teach classes; (3) Manage alumni communications and events; and, (4) Assist graduates in transition to high school. This person works in close partnership with the entire Jesuit Academy team, including the Grad Support Director, Principal, President, teachers, and administrators. Applicants for the position must be selfless individuals who take initiative to solve problems. Applicants with a combination of experience in youth programming, academic/career counseling, education, teaching experience, or student advocacy are preferred. This position occasionally requires non-traditional work hours that includes evenings and weekend events.
